About This Game Space Cat is an arcade platforming game. The goal is to collect as many points as possible without dying. The game's terrain is constantly being manipulated by destructive forces, such as bombs and missiles, and UFOs, which randomly generate new terrain. No two playthroughs of the game are the same! There are three different game modes. Classic Mode, the main game, is as described above. Giant Mode lets you experience the game on a map that's 4x as large as the original game. So, i recentally came apon this game, this game is a gem, and i think its a bit obscrure, the controls are smooth and the gameplay has me addicted, the plot is simple and reminds me of an NES or SNES game same with the visuals. i don't enough people to play the battle or basket ball gamemodes and if online was somehow incorperated into the multiplayer it could be played a bit more chaotic and more available to the gamers who don't have people to play it with locally but people who can onlinethe game seems to run at a smooth framerate and no slowdowns, the difficulty i find challenging but fun, the soundtrack is AMAZING and feels like its straight from an old NES or SNES game.i give this game a solid 8\/10, great game but unfortunatally local multiplayer only with no online play to date. hopefully this game gets more popular as i see great qaulity for it. cheap price and easy to play, pick this up if you can.. I dont know of any other game where you're a cat; trying to "strike it rich" on an astroid. It hits me with the arcade games nostalgia, just because of the way the game makes you feel. Its colors and sound are such a huge element to the game. I love the most recent patch too! The new patch made the game more customizable, which is always a nice thing for a game to have. If you like classic arcade games, give Space Cat a try; its beautiful. Another reason, Its good is for people, like me, who play a bunch of FPS and indie survival games; its a nice change of pace. I truly recommend this game... Although there is one thing Im not a big fan of. Im no game developer, but for PC gamers who want to play this game, there are two choices pretty much. Classic mode and giant mode. All the other ones are CO-OP only. Maybe its going in the direction of consoles, but people on PC still like to play it too! PC gaming isn't meant for couch CO-OP, so its hard to get those game modes going. As of right now I don't think there is an online multiplayer, which is bad for PC gamers. Its too hard for four people to squish together around a keyboard to play a game. And to most PC gamers, controllers are a pain to set up and deal with.
